Established in 1901, the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity was founded on the cardinal values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. The twelve founders of this fraternity sought to return to the true ideals of the Greek community, and now, with this implementation of SigEp’s Balanced Man Program, the over one century of excellence is progressing even further.
The Balanced Man Program seeks to mold men into the greatest form possible: to instill a sound body, a sound mind, and a healthy spirit. The Balanced Man is someone who excels not only in academics, but in athletics, leadership, service, and personal growth. The Balanced Man Program has gone even further, replacing the old standard pledge model with a continuous development program. Instead of hazing, new members are considered brothers from the moment they join and begin their journey of continuous self-improvement and professional development throughout their undergraduate experience.
